Board And Train
Is Board and Train right for me and my dog?
Training your dog successfully requires consistency. That is, consistent techniques, body language, cues and most importantly, time. The basic foundation of dog training takes a lot more time and energy than maintaining an already trained dog. Of course, the ideal situation is training your own dog, but if for whatever reason you are unable to provide the training yourself, board and train is a great option for you and your dog. This fully immersive and intensive training program results in much quicker progress.
Foundation Manners And Obedience
Tried and tested, positive training techniques that build a solid and lasting foundation for your dog.
Do you want a well-mannered dog that listens to you but you don't have the time to train him/her?
Are you not sure where to start or what comes after sit, stay and come?
If you answered yes, then this immersive training program is perfect for you and your dog.
This training program will set a solid foundation for your dog to be successful in learning how to be well-mannered and obedient at home.
For lasting results, dog training must be consistent and progressive, therefore I train dogs at their own pace to ensure they fully understand the behavior before moving on to the next step. Training sessions are kept short, positive and fun, and are repeated three to four times per day.
Minimum 2 week stay.

DOG Training Journey only uses scientifically proven operant conditioning training methods.
Aversive dog training methods are NEVER used because that punishes unwanted behavior but does not teach the dog how to make a better choice of behavior.
I teach dogs how they SHOULD behave, not how they shouldn't behave.
